As I Recall
Every body in this world – living or not, has a story. Each could recall his or her interpretation as they perceive. Remembering how it happened and or what was said or NOT said; many times, reactions are even recollected; dates and times are often both given as precise or to the best of knowledge.

Every body in this world – living or not, has a story. Each could recall his or her interpretation as they perceive. Remembering how it happened and or what was said or NOT said; many times, reactions are even recollected; dates and times are often both given as precise or to the best of knowledge.
I am NO different and this is how I recall some events of MY life; many of which are in MY mind as I have been told for verbatim relayed to ME in court proceedings and others inference of what and how it happened. Up until recently, I never ever connected MY experiences as to relating to each other event or predicaments of MY own. Although, many of MY own recollections remain FRESHLY occurring in MY mind. And I try to learn from past events and make the most advantageous choices for the best outcome.
Swinging front to back while twisting left to right, I pulled up and down on the side seat chains in order to capture glimpses of MY 1st young love – Cynthia. She was crying and I was trying to console her; Cynthia and her sister – ANNA, were also there at the playground. Shortly after this, I recall MY close and favorite cousin being killed in an auto wreck.
Cleaning out the camper that our family recently returned from as a ‘family’ get a way, I found what ME and my semi – twin sister were in so much of dire need for our fun; there they were, a box of match sticks which promised flaming good times. I grasped the box and called out MY sister’s name as I extended MY arm outside the doorway to show Bianca. But as I spoke, MY mother popped her head out of the house and onto the direction of the camper; she said, “What, What did YOU find?” And ME thinking I was quick and slick, I retracted into the camper with the match box and quickly exchanged it for a roll of paper towels. That summer, MY sister and I had been mischievious with matches and small fires.
That auto wreck was traumatic for ME and very suspicious for every one whom knew of it. The wreck seemingly tended to be intentional? MY cousin’s older brother was an ARMY Veteran and quickly became a well-known DRUG Dealer – not just Nation wide but world wide too. His nickname was MANNY. MY cousin’s death was said to be a payback for a DEAL gone badd. Nevertheless, I was torn and scorn from loosing HER. I was so close to LINDA and could NOT understand how some one so helpful and loving in MY life could be token away from ME.
I believe it was near end of 1982. MY great grandmother had recently died. HE was in the kitchen and on the phone with MY mother. Of course, HE was drinking beer and crying to MY mother that She never spends time with him and She spends too much time with her nuclear family. I entered the kitchen and told HIM that I want to talk to MY mother. He said not right now and for me to go to my room. I could see the anger in his face and heard his stern words clearly as HE pointed. So, with obedience, I left.

- Around this time, Jim Gonthier and I had become members of a GANG we had been running with for some time. Strangely enough, we were ‘walked – in’ to the gang via the leader. HE said that we proved ourselves and if anyone had a problem to come see him, BUBBA.
One of the 1st things noted when getting into a GANG is that when one is unable to get to someone else, then one can get back by hurting a family member or another loved one; that is one lesson that should NOT be taught to anyone. And, yet, from the beginning – many in the ‘neighborhood’ I was now in and a part of, wanted and wished ME well to Rise Above and strive to peek out of hoodlum category. Neighborhoods are weird like that: picking and choosing whom they wish to Rise Up and Out in hopes of representing others.
Also, some where about these times, MY girlfriend – Denise and I drove onto a GOODYEAR Tire & Service establishment on Calmada & Whittier Blvd, CA 90605; I simply was wanting an estimate on costs for new tires to put on MY, very old, 1967 PONTIAC Grand Prix: though the original color was white, I was enrolled in a Regional Occupational Program (R.O.P.) for Auto Body and Painting training; it was mostly primered grey and had many holes in the right quarter panel along with SHAVED – OFF door handles which opened up electrically. Any ways, while I went inside for customer service, MY girlfriend remained in the front passenger seat and began playing with an electric water gun I had left on the front floor; it resembled an UZI style automatic gun. Needless to say that WE were instantly surrounded by many law enforcements – local and nearby.

During this whole process, MY existence was frequently threatened by victims family members and their friends
MY rehabilitation was IMPORTANT so that I could be ACCOUNTABLE for this incident, whether intentional or accidental
M.A.D.D. & S.A.D.D. were widely recognized at that time
Many D.U.I. incidents were being bond over and refiled as murder cases
MY case was NO different as the D.A. charging ME was contemplating - for She recently had, also, lost Her teenaged daughter to a drunk – driver.
MY blood alcohol level was 2 ½ times the legal limit, back then - .25
NOT surprisingly, at the scene, investigative officers found a PINT of VODKA behind MY car dash
(During this time MANNY asked MY parents if HE could take ME away to Hawaii so that I would NOT have to be accountable to MY Court Case; MANNY had houses in California, Mexico, Hawaii and Australia – that which we knew of him owning); but I had NO intention of looking over MY shoulder for the rest of MY life. Since MY father was a mechanic, MANNY used to help MY father by bringing cars for MY father to fix and or service. Manny ‘helped’ out much of our family in many ways, mostly lending money. Of couarse, NO one truly appreciated MANNY’s financial assistance, NO ONE ever remembers $ help.

1.) Intentional NEGLECT for life from that speech I delivered in the PHYSCHOLGY Class just before MY drive
2.) One of the occupants in the other car was a brother to MY problematic relationship with DENISE
3.) I was using illegal drugs and alcohol
4.)

- Against every one’s wish for ME, I copped a Plea Bargain to Double Vehicular Manslaughter so that I could NOT be charged for MURDER
About 1 – 1 ½ years into MY incarceration; I was told that MY cousin (the drug dealer) was caught by law enforcement. Apparently, an old man - long time ‘friend’ and buyer set MY cousin up with the help of a STING Operation. Quickly MY cousin began to loose his monies and properties through representation of court proceedures. HIS world was clearly changing as HE was fighting to stay out of prison.
For ME, for some reason I could NOT recall any thing from MY Car Wreck incident; all that I knew is that MY soul was empty and I felt REMORSE for the whole situation which I was now in. I could NOT believe that I could ever intentionally hurt any one. MY life of REDEMPTION was now beginning.

First it was on the set of ‘Biker Boys’; on the set of stadium raceway: AZUSA Speedway. WOW. There with so many of hundred others. I had signed up with STEPHEN at PRINT MODELS on Ventura near Barham just off the 101 freeway. And inside of PRINT MODELS was a boo

I somehow found myself pursuing an ACTING / Modeling interest.
First it was on the set of ‘Biker Boys’; on the set of stadium raceway: AZUSA Speedway. WOW. There with so many of hundred others. I had signed up with STEPHEN at PRINT MODELS on Ventura near Barham just off the 101 freeway. And inside of PRINT MODELS was a booking Service operated by CRAIG. This was another avenue of experiences and opportunities.
AND actually on the way, I recall MY ’78 VOLVO 242DL stop working on the 605 freeway as I was on MY way at 5am; whom else can ONE call for any emergency situation – MOM. MY MOTHER always seems to be there when I need HELP. MY MOTHER quickly awoke and drove to where I was broke down; SHE then took ME to get the parts which I needed so I could fix MY car and made sure that I was going to be OK from MY disposition. Naturally, I hugged and kissed MY MOTHER with such gratitude.
It was the next BIG call I recollect, it was HERBIE – with Lindsey Lohan. Fortunately, I made it there eventhough I was clearly late from MY original call time. I did get to ‘work’ several days as the calling service “booked” ME for diferrent characters, inorder to fulfill the requirements. I was a spectator; I was a camera man, I was PIT Crew (for a couple of diferrent teams).

I didn't know. MY fellow Stand - Ins preached to ME of how MY life will now change INSPITE of MY blemished past and hard times living so far. But for ME, every day was just another day of ME trying to exist
About 20 years Later:
I joined the world - wide recognized ACTOR's UNION; to MY surprise, shortly after, WE began a strike. But I stood firm in joying this union and I was immediately standing STRONG as a fellow union member while striving to gain along side MY fellow union members.
LIVING & Enjoying LIFE
I was indoctrinated to BE ALL That I CAN BE ... So treading through LIFE with MY hindered PAST, I continue to leave marks of recognition where ever I go. NEVER begging nor panhandling - I do often find my self starting over and rebuilding with NOTHING more than the clothes I wear and MY hygiuene filled backpack and laptop. I am uplifted as others watch ME regain with envy [ : ' )
